Hero Beach Club
In the summer of 2017, Hero Beach Club hired us to join their launch team for their first ever luxury hotel in Montauk, New York. We provided creative guidance, brand partnerships and custom hospitality design throughout the entire brand development process, culminating with a launch event that truly captured HBC’s unique personality.
Our scope of work preceding the launch included but was not limited to creating Hero Beach Club’s brand logo, voice, on-property ambiance, and hotel merchandise directly contributing to the hotel’s guest experience and the property’s incredible success. We also designed, tested, and implemented the hotel’s digital site, providing a seamless user experience for new and potential customers. The site offers a clean, impressionistic aesthetic that is fully responsive across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
We planned the ultimate beachside getaway to celebrate Hero Beach Club’s launch and welcome its first guests. Friends, families, media, and tastemakers were greeted with local fare and fresh cocktails, then ventured off into the property to explore the design and holistic amenities offered. Down the white steps and onto the open grassy area, a grand view of the garden and rolling dunes met the guests. Airy cabanas invited guests with Tomorrow Sleep mattresses topped with Hill House Home custom linens and hand embroidered pillows. Throughout the day, attendees were entertained with live musical guests DJ Bec Adams and Royal Khaoz, a reggae fusion band. Openly placed tables encouraged mingling as guests sipped on cocktails from the open bar and snacked on hors d'oeuvre as the scent of BBQ traveled through the air. The guests were gifted with Tomorrow Sleep totes and complimentary DIFF sunglasses of their choice. We also oversaw all launch press and brand partnerships for the property which led to the development of a long term partnership with one of our most esteemed clients today.
